Masaru, Taichi - the one with the OTHER Agumon - and Takato - the one who fused with his Digimon into Dukemon - are all here. Different versions of them, though, like I said.

Basically, they don't remember any of that happening. So it either never DID happen for them, or their memories of it somehow vanished. Either way, it's like they never met us.

Until today, obviously.

And... this is like one of their digital worlds...?

No.

It's a different world, connected to a bunch of different realities as opposed to one Human World. Some being called Yggdrasil controls it as part of some sort of "experiment."

... That's... very confusing, but I think I get it...

Well, just look at it like this.

We may not know them as they were back home, but we'll still have a lot of friends and allies here, regardless.

They're fine, Akari. Really.

Taichi, Masaru, Takato, and their friends have been pretty helpful. We've even got a place to head to that's apparently a safe city where they're all at.

Though I guess we need to swing around and find you guys, too.

... This place is called "Hamburger Digimon Village." All the digimon here look like, well, food.

This world's countries are interconnected by lightposts, you just have to have the data to go back and forth between them.

Basically, like Zone Transfers, but a lot less dangerous, evidently.

Well, at least giant monsters won't attempt to eat us.

One of the biggest threats here are called the Seven Great Demon Kings. They consist of a number of Digimon we've seen before, including Lucemon, Lilithmon, and another type of Beelzebumon. Each represents one of humanity's seven sins and preys upon them.

Worse than that, not all the Tamers here are... well, what you'd call good guys. Some are possibly worse than a lot of the guys we fought, even.
