[Locked to DATS Members]
Well, we've all seen Omegamon's declaration.
And it sucks. For everyone. The worst part is that we can't do anything about it as an organization. The commanders are still trying to determine our official stance here, but I can tell everyone right now that our hands are tied here. We can't stand against Omegamon, and unlike with Ravemon, it is unlikely that we'll be able to muster the support of Area Leaders to stand against him.
The Dark Area's made a lot of enemies, and even if they hadn't, Omegamon leads the foremost army in the digital world. Nobody else even comes close to him. If anyone moves against him, they get erased from history. It's that simple.
I've put out an independent call to arms. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of information for them, or for you. The invasion down there caught us off guard, and most of our insiders are dead or in the stockade. To say we're hurting for intelligence is an understatement, and we're forming plans for reconnaissance missions. But as of right now, we are more or less blind down there. The only thing I can say for certain is that the Virus Busters stopped at the Poyi Mountains, and King Bowser Koopa's territory expanded until they met the Virus Busters, and now there seems to be some sort of truce between them.
Whatever the case, there are people out there who are not willing to let this state of affairs stand. If you want to join them, go ahead. I'll personally see to it that your paychecks get accounting errors in your favor.
But if you get caught, you are not operating as DATS members. You will be disavowed. And I can't promise that a rescue will be forthcoming.
If you've got any questions... now's the time to ask them. I'll do my best to fill you in.
But... again... we're hurting for intelligence. I don't HAVE a lot of answers for certain questions.

So long as the "getting caught" part can be avoided.
In short, it's completely black ops we'd have to be looking at. If Omegamon sees us sticking our noses in there and those orders can be traced back to Command, he's going to start by flattening Sanctity and moving on from there.

We've seen Omegamon and his soldiers' tactics before, thanks to our alliance with the autobots.
Mercy and understanding are not in their dictionaries.

One's better than an entire populace suffering.
And that's only, again, if they're caught.

But you are right. An army that can overtake another in such a short time isn't something to be contended with lightly.
I can understand why the Area Leaders would be hesitant to strike against him, especially given what I've heard of the damage caused by Chaosmon before we arrived. What do you think it would take to gain their favor in opposing them? Is there anything that would...? I'm still learning the ins and outs of this world, so...

Even then, the only militaries that stood a chance at opposing him were Ravemon's Tetha, and The Royal Hive. Both of them are no longer options.
Omegamon has been alive as long as anyone knows. He's been raising his army almost as long.

Our biggest concern then should be minimizing the current fallout.
I'm concerned about the possibility of them targeting demonic types outside of the Dark Area. Less for me, and more for those who wouldn't be able to anticipate it as readily. We need to figure out just how imminent that is.
Likely, he's not going to launch an all out assault like he did on the Dark Area. As strong as the Virus Buster army seems to be, there's still a risk to him if the entire world did turn against him.
[Locked to DATS Captains and Commanders]
Re: [Locked to DATS Captains and Commanders]
Even with the assistance of various Areas, the Dark Area Rebellion, the Halberd, and the Claudia, we were barely able to take down Ravemon's forces...
Regardless, it is still a necessity, yes.
To start with, even in spite of what happened earlier this year, we must speak with Dukemon. That's more of a priority now than ever.
I think for that case, it would be best for one of us Commanders to approach him.
The others...
SaberLeomon is still recovering from injuries suffered against Chaosmon, and both his and TyrantKabuterimon's territories were invaded when the Dark Area attacked Urd four years ago. I am not sure how willing they're going to be to strike out themselves for the Dark Area's sake.
Tetha does not yet have an Area Leader, and has been running on a temporary government during its reconstruction. Chaosdramon is ... no, that won't work...
Then there is DaiPenmon, Vikemon, and Scorpiomon... Vikemon and Scorpiomon would certainly be unlikely allies, but there are possibly ways to appeal to them. Even if they couldn't offer manpower, there are things they MIGHT be able to offer...
DaiPenmon is so isolated, and he did not show a lot of want to be involved in conflict when it was Tetha. I'm thinking this won't be much different.
Then there are the Area Leaders on Skuld itself. Karatenmon in Poyi, and Pharohmon in the Graveyard. Both of them are in great danger of Omegamon's forces bleeding into their territory, if that's not already happening. Karatenmon, at least, was a great ally against Ravemon...
Beyond that we have the Chess Kingdom. It's located closest to the Virus Busters home territory of any Areas. We don't have much in the way of contacts there, but having an ally so close to the enemy could be beneficial. And then, there's Asuka and ... the Putrid Ruins.
Susanoomon may have helped against Chaosmon, but that was an immediate threat to all. Asuka has remained mostly isolated in its political affairs, I don't think they will be interested in fighting another's war...
...the Putrid Ruins did help against Ravemon, so they are again another possibility...
What we must do is find ways to appeal to all we can so we can back up any further, more open movements.
Re: [Locked to DATS Captains and Commanders]
But this isn't about the Dark Area. Not really. He's already made his intentions of riding this world of demonic digimon, if his conversation with Agent Noguchi is anything to go by.
But what's to stop him from acting on his group's name and extending his purge to all virus types. The other area leaders can't be naive enough to think that he'd actually just limit himself to the demonic digimon. That's probably going to need to be the way we'll have to play this.

If I get caught just fill in whatever date you think is good enough to give plausible deniability.

[Locked to Yuka, Captains, Commanders]
Sir, in the event that Yuka does something on her own, it... would be very helpful to keep the heat off of us.
Mind you, Yuka, I'm not prepared to tell you to do that just yet. But the thought is appreciated.
Do you have a plan?
