My daughter Lily has been missing since the unfreezing started. I can't get her to answer her D-comm and I'm getting desperate. [Swallows a quiver in her voice]

If anyone has seen her please...contact me right away. She's seven years old, and hopefully will have a Kyokyomon with her.

We're also looking for a younger child named Men Tao. He is about one and a half years old. His partner is a purple Pokomon.

I know everyone is trying to pick up the pieces from what just happened, but please if you can. Help us find them. The Digital world is no place for children to be alone. You all know that. There will be a reward for any information that helps us find them. I can promise that.

Do you really think I'll be able to sleep without being exhausted?

I can't do it. Not yet...she trusts me Pid. More then anyone. And if she gets hurt out there...

At the same time... You have to be ready to move as soon as we find her. And if you're too fatigued and it turns out we have to save her from something...

You and she would both be in danger.

They say Napoleon led his army on fifteen minute naps every three hours after all.

... I... Might have something I can do to make that more effective. But you'll have to trust me... And the break will need to be just a tad longer than the nap. Ninety minutes total.

...alright but if she's found you can wake me up right away right?

I... Think so.

This is just a form of powernap I researched back... Before. The reason it requires trust... Is because it's basically using my powers to get you to fall fully asleep faster. If I do it perfectly, you don't notice the separation between awake and dreaming.

Erm, unless I do it while you're standing up or something. Let's not test that.

Alright. But not a moment longer. Seriously I'll freak out if I wake up and have missed too much time eve nif nothing has happened.

I promise. I'll keep watch on you the whole time, so if she's found early, I'll get you up.

Keep in mind the transition out of this technique can feel abrupt. If we need you up quickly for some reason - like Lily being found - I may need to run some extra work to keep you from experiencing sensory overload. But we'll cross that bridge if it comes.

*And now Pid's almost pulling Jinx towards her room.*

[reluctantly following, still checking her comm every three minutes or so.]

*And then, Pid has Jinx in her room.*

Clothes off. Nice and quick, the sooner we have you asleep the sooner you're up!

I knew it! Wicked intentions!

*But strips anyway, mostly just eager to get the sleeping part over with*

*As soon as Jinx is at the point Pid knows to be how she dresses for sleeping, Pid's calmly moving Jinx towards the bed.*

Okay... Now, I need you to just lie down, on your back, then face me.

*Checks her D-comm one last time before setting it on the nightstand and does as Pid instructs*

*Pid carefully moves to be directly over Jinx, staring right into her eyes.*

... Now, just watch my gaze. You'll know this works because I'll be able to jump right into your dream - I'll turn my outfit red to mark that you're in the dream, then jump out to keep track of time.

*Pid's actually setting an alarm on her own D-Comm as she says this.*

*An unspoken anxiety builds up, a repressed dislike of mind control spells from a long time ago, back before the digital world. But she does her best to ward it off with trust*

If you start swinging a watch your fired.

That's for when I don't need to focus on getting this right.

*And then, Pid's eyes are glowing in an oddly curious fashion. Jinx has never actually seen Pid's hypnotic powers used directly, so this is new... And oddly fascinating. She doesn't seem to be growing tired or anything yet, though...*

*Watching carefully, waiting. Jinx has always prided herself on being sharp sighted and noticing finer details. So when they glow she takes a deep breath, lets it out and peers deeper into them as if searching for something telling.*

*Pid's words seem to be beneath her breath somehow... It's been a while since she cast this spell, but the magic flows exactly how she remembers it...

... And then, Jinx, seemingly reflexively, blinks. When her eyes open, Pid's outfit has suddenly turned red.*

... There we go.

Huh...

*Looks around and then shrugs* So I'm asleep now huh?

*Clearly is not sure what to do with herself now that she's coherent and asleep.*

To be more precise, you're in the most lucid dream you've likely ever had.

Normally, things like this result in sleepwalking, but I have a workaround, so...

Problem is, your sense of time's all off-kilter. I'm going to have to poof now so that I can keep track for you.

Alright I'll just...stay here and pretend I'm not worrying.

Dreams do weird things... Especially when there's a Succubus around to sweeten them a bit.

*The Succubus snaps her fingers. Suddenly, Jinx isn't quite sure what she was worrying about. Some pleasant environment from her subconscious is forming around her, as her dream simply flows away from her worries. She probably won't even remember it in an hour. One thing that won't be present, though? Is an active outside influence from Pidonus - she's disappeared.*
