First thing to know if the device you hold now, the D-Comm, is your primary source of communication. With it, you are tied to the network here and can communicate with everyone else who has a D-Comm.

You're next thing to consider is your digivice. It should be the second unfamiliar device you have with you. It is used to evolve your partner digimon, which is the third most important thing to discuss.

Exactly. Though from what I have heard there are only two ways to leave this world. You die, in which case you're deleted from the world, or you get sent back home. Though not all returns home are permanent. Some people eventually come back.

That isn't what I'm saying at all. I have neither the resources nor the care to build my own faction. Plus with so many players on the board now, doing so would be idiotic.

I'm just giving advice. The Demon Kings, DATS, Professor Kurata, and many others. All of them have their own powerful factions in this world that are vying for their own outcome. It's up to you which side you join.

As for me, I'm staying Neutral with MAGI.
