[Whoever has this comm doesn't seem to be doing very well. It clicks on to silence at first, but after a time the sound of sniffling and hiccuping can be heard.]

K-kaa-san... tou-san... I wanna go home... I--

[a sob sounds from the little girl, followed by a rustle of leaves. She gasps, and the connection is cut.]

[Monako goes quiet again after that, getting off of Aquillamon with Rue's help once they get there. She keeps a close eye on Koemon, still worried about him. He hasn't stirred since he collapsed, but that could mean anything to some one who knows nothing about digimon.]

[Together the four of them enter the emergency room and head up to the desk.]

Excuse me? I have a friend who needs some help; she and her partner were both attacked.

[Thankfully, the nurse is nice and the lobby doesn't seem too busy. They get to Monako fairly quickly, and she's put in a wheel chair to be taken back with her partner.]

Ah... thank you, Rue.

[Rue smiles.]

You're welcome. Do- Is there anyone I can call, that needs to know you're here?

[She almost asks if Monako wants her to stay, but stops.]

[Monako shakes her head]

I'm new here. I don't think anyone I know is here...

[Monako shakes her head. They were in trouble, last she saw them, and then she wound up here so... she's not really sure what to think, but being alone has her pretty convinced they're not around.

She forces a smile up at Rue]

I'll... be alright. I'm an Edwards. Surviving is what we do.

[Rue bites her lip before managing to smile back.]

Well, the least we can do is help you find a place to stay once you get out of here.

Too bad there's not enough room in my family's apartment- ooff! [Falcomon glares up at Rue, rubbing the spot in her side where her Tamer had elbowed her sharply.]
