[Locked to all everyone who posted in opposition to Omegamon's declaration, Encrypted, Anonymous]
Tamers who have expressed dismay with the Virus Busters, this post is locked so that only you may see it. If you know of anyone who would be interested in seeing this information, it is incumbent on you to share it.
I cannot reveal myself, as I cannot stand against the Virus Busters. But know that you are not alone in your belief that Omegamon is wrong. The Dark Area is evil, but not all of its citizens are. And none of them deserve to be eliminated because of what they are.
At the present time, there are many settlements in the Dark Area that have fallen to the Virus Busters' occupation. Without help, the inhabitants of those settlements do not have a future ahead of them. Mass cullings have not yet begun, but it is only a matter of time.
[Attached: Map Data for four Dark Area Villages in close proximity to the Poyi Mountains]
At this time, these are the only settlements I know of that need help that are lightly occupied. Any attempt to rescue the Dark Area citizens there will be met with force, and if anyone launches a rescue operation prematurely, future operations in the area will be more difficult. For this reason, I encourage anyone who wants to do anything to coordinate with each other on this post. Those people can be rescued. Take them to Junk City if you're successful. It is probably the only place in the digital world that won't turn away Dark Area Citizens at the present time.
Unfortunately, I cannot offer more assistance. I do not have the intelligence to offer greater overview of the situation. That may change in the future, but for now, this is all that I can do.
Do not allow yourselves to be caught. Omegamon is an extremist demagogue. If he feels there is a concentrated threat to his power and his belief, he WILL respond with overwhelming force.
Good luck.

Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
If we do act, I can't say with any certainty that we wouldn't be responsible for thousands of deaths.
We're icons, Sonicheart. You haven't been seen nearly as much as I... but I'm in the paper as a pillar in Neon City almost every week. Junk City isn't even a stone's throw from here.
I'm not saying we shouldn't help... but I can't agree to just flying in there, beating up the soldiers, and running escort duty all the way back to my back yard. Not when there's an enemy who's expressed willingness in, and has the capability to, obliterate anyone and anything who gets in his way.
He's a bigger foe than I can handle.
Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
Silverwing?
I know there's time issues... But you're going to become an Incarnate in time. You're going to have better control of the Well of the Furies than Marcus Cole himself.
I should know. You're the one that taught me quite a bit about how to handle it when I started taking that power for myself.
You, of all people, know full well that this has to be stopped. Further... You know how to do it. You're the planner, the schemer. The one who could outwit Nemesis again and again by being two steps ahead of him.
Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
And if stopping a tyrant with an army were that easy, Statesman would have kicked Recluse's butt out of the Rogue Isles years ago.
You're asking me to fight a sovereign nation, Sonicheart. I agree that we need to help the people of the Dark Area, but we can't do that by moving against Omegamon so blatantly.
Have you ever worked with Agent Crimson? If you have, you know the value of deniable assets. If you haven't... well, count yourself lucky. The things I've seen while working with him are enough to make a girl want to hang up her cape.
I'm not saying we should give up on them, far from it. But the Virus Busters are more of a threat than the Rikti. And you KNOW how many good people, the sort of people who could laugh in death's face on a daily basis, lost their lives in that fight.
Going in hot will start a war that none of us can win. There's heroism, and then there's stupidity.
I'll see if I can put together something to help those people... But even a hero has to know when a situation is beyond him.
Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
It... What do we do, then? We can't just...
Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
I can possibly whip up a couple of illusions to draw out the Virus Busters in one village. That's a distraction that will last for ten minutes, tops, before someone realizes that they're being played.
You... have that song that puts people to sleep, right? How long can we count on that lasting?
Whatever the case... If we don't have thirty minutes, minimum, to get in, get everyone to a lightpost, and get out... We can't do this.
There is no such thing as an orderly evacuation. And even if we have those thirty minutes, odds are better than good that we're gonna be leaving people behind to a very nasty fate.
Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
... And you're right...
Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
We can fight an army on our own. But we can't say the same about an orderly evacuation.
Gods, I wish Synapse were here. A super-speeder with no qualms about personal space would really come in handy right about now.
Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
Others are writing to the post I linked... And they're planning to offer a distraction, which would allow us to focus on getting people to safety and ensuring that there are no stragglers.
Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
...
And only enough distractions to clear out the assembled forces at one.
It's still better than nothing, though...
Re: [Encrypted, Silverwing's D-Comm]
[Some time later]
I trust Serge set you up with a second outfit?
Something suitably different from what your Hero license has registered?
Re: [Some time later]
The Sonic System and Valkyria Armor are kinda how I do my thing, and they're both outfit-tied...
Re: [Some time later]
We can get involved down there, but it can't be us.
As is, we'd have to Jogress our partners to keep that from getting traced back to us.
Re: [Some time later]
I can try to think of something?
Re: [Some time later]
...
If not, I'll see if I can't work a miracle to get mine replicated. Gonna be hard to find Impervium here, but maybe Chrondigizoid will work...
Can the Sonic System focus its attacks through a specialized projector other than what you already use?
No, let me rephrase... have you got the knowhow to make a Redding Rifle replica that can project the blasts?
Re: [Some time later]
I...
... Huh, a quick check and I do have that. But it'll have to be modified heavily to open up connection ports.
Re: [Some time later]
All right, tech girl.
Let's see what kind of magic... errr... innovation you and Mr. Keyes were able to pull off.
