Yeah, sorry to tell you, but this is Yggdrasil's doing.

He doesn't let anyone escape the atmosphere.

Well...that's rather small minded of him. Just think of what could be gained scientifically speaking.

Well of course I understand that we are here for a reason...as vague as that reason may be. But one can't help but want what they can't have. It's basic nature.

Which I certainly won't deride anyone for, but Yggdrasil most certainly does not want his lab mice experiments to take flight. Controlled environments, and such forth.

Ugh...thinking about it like that put a rather foul taste in my mouth. I rather prefer to be the one running the experiment. But I'm aware that what I like is hardly of the higher powers concern.

It's something even those of us in Witchelny aren't exempt from.

We all just sort of have to ... go along with the flow, as it were.

Believe me when I say that what any of us like aren't of the higher power's concerns.

If only I weren't such an obsessive personality with a need to sort, organize and control. I have some friends back home that Yggdrasil would probably love alot more.
