Attention Birds. This is your Captain speaking.
It would seem the Galleon can't breach the upper atmosphere in this world.
In fact, it would seem we're in a nosedive. Something I've never seen this ship do.
Cover your heads with your wings, and hope this thing's more aerodynamic than it looks!
WE'RE GONNA DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!

So, Captain Marvelous.... you know how to pull your ship out of a dive like that?

I'M STILL LEARNING TO FLY IN THIS FORM!
SHUT UP!

I really hope you can pull this off, I'd hate to lose a decent rival before we even have a chance to challenge each other.
What WERE you doing trying to break the cloud ceiling, though?

Kind of an interesting perspective, though. Never seen straight down quite like this.
INTERESTING?!
But, what was I doing up there? Trying to see what WAS up there, of course!

I don't think that Yggdrasil wants you to leave, Marvelous.

Well shit...
So much for our plan. Maybe if we increase the boosters...that might help. Any ideas on your end?

He doesn't let anyone escape the atmosphere.

[sound of the ship lurching, along with Machalcon and Navi both screaming and tumbling around the cabin, then silence for several moments, and...]
There we go. Skimmed across the ocean a bit, but we're okay.
Skimmed? I think you mean SKIPPED.
Semantics.

That was about what I expected. Figured if anyone could LEAVE this place that easy, they'd have already done it...
Ah well. Worth a shot, eh?
[audio]
Ah well. Plenty for me to explore down here.

Re: [audio]
A single planet can have a lot to offer if you look deep enough, anyway.

lab miceexperiments to take flight. Controlled environments, and such forth.[ooc - Strikes unreadable, because Witchmon a... well, she's Witchmon.]

We all just sort of have to ... go along with the flow, as it were.
Believe me when I say that what any of us like aren't of the higher power's concerns.

But, I'm game.
Re: [Text]
Gotta ask; what are you?

Re: [Audio]
But hell, who am I to turn down an offer like that?
Re: [Text]
...OH. That red one on the way to Earth.
...only there, huh? Guess every reality's gotta start somewhere.
[Text]
Automated probes have been sent throughout my home solar system, and a single crewed mission reached Jupiter, the fifth planet, 55 years ago. However, automated probes are highly limited in their ability to determine what to examine without continual human direction, while humans do not live long enough to make crewed exploration practical; reaching Jupiter with a crewed spacecraft required a seven-year journey and an extremely large quantity of fuel, due to the mass of the equipment required to maintain the crew. I was created to allow exploration with minimal energy requirements and an on-site intelligence that will not die of old age.
