[accidental audio]

Attention Birds. This is your Captain speaking.

It would seem the Galleon can't breach the upper atmosphere in this world.

In fact, it would seem we're in a nosedive. Something I've never seen this ship do.

Cover your heads with your wings, and hope this thing's more aerodynamic than it looks!

WE'RE GONNA DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!

Aha! So that's what would happen. I'd been curious about that exact subject for the longest time. Fascinating.

[Very sick sounding Lombax on the other end.]

Well shit...

So much for our plan. Maybe if we increase the boosters...that might help. Any ideas on your end?

Well it might be a shielding issue, perhaps if we send up a probe we can gather some energy readings from whatever is blocking us and deduce a solution from there.

Yeah, sorry to tell you, but this is Yggdrasil's doing.

He doesn't let anyone escape the atmosphere.

Well...that's rather small minded of him. Just think of what could be gained scientifically speaking.

Yggdrasil isn't really much one to care about such things, as he already knows whatever's out there.

Just the way of the world, sadly~

Well of course I understand that we are here for a reason...as vague as that reason may be. But one can't help but want what they can't have. It's basic nature.

Which I certainly won't deride anyone for, but Yggdrasil most certainly does not want his lab mice experiments to take flight. Controlled environments, and such forth.

[ooc - Strikes unreadable, because Witchmon a... well, she's Witchmon.]

Ugh...thinking about it like that put a rather foul taste in my mouth. I rather prefer to be the one running the experiment. But I'm aware that what I like is hardly of the higher powers concern.
witchmon: (Well that's just dandy.)

[personal profile] witchmon 2012-03-05 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
It's something even those of us in Witchelny aren't exempt from.

We all just sort of have to ... go along with the flow, as it were.

Believe me when I say that what any of us like aren't of the higher power's concerns.
techsavytabby: (Look at this tiny thing.)

[personal profile] techsavytabby 2012-03-05 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
If only I weren't such an obsessive personality with a need to sort, organize and control. I have some friends back home that Yggdrasil would probably love alot more.

Probe might work. At least we'll have some information to work off of.

That's a healthy attitude to have about it. I suppose I just miss space travel. It was so exhilarating when I was finally able to travel between planets on a worthy vessel.

But of course, and in a universe compiled of data we can explore down to the very bits of information that form it's structure.
