...You must be mistaken. When I was seventeen, I was still fighting in the Shaman Tournament. I believe it was the last legs of it, too, now that I think about it.

[ Hoshi watches as Pidonus works with wonderment before she sits down with her legs crossed. ]

This world's isolated from the flow of time in your world. You can be here years, then suddenly, poof, you're back where you were, no memories of the Digital World.

Usually, though, when - if - you return, you remember that time once more. Not always, though.

I don't even know if i'd be alive now if it weren't for you. And I still don't know what happened with that truck of magma...

[ Hoshi looks perplexed for a moment or two before she smiles and gets up, giving Pidonus a quick hug. ]

... If only it were that easy. I ended up joining DATS, an organization that faces the evils of this world, and I've been learning to fight, but...

The temptation's still there. My powers haven't weakened from lack of use. They're a part of me that I have to resist, lest I simply become what I was once more.
