What do you do when...

Hn.

How do I put this...

No matter how hard you keep trying, everything turns out the wrong way?

And this other person... has no desire to be saved?

Or sees you as an enemy?

Challenging.

Not impossible.

How far are you willing to go? I have general answers for you, but... they're not easy. Not by a long shot.

Will you? If you truly desire this, then you will be putting your own life in danger. If you truly desire this, then you won't raise your weapons against this soul again.

In defense of others, or your own life? Certainly. But only to that extent.

When you have the chance to strike, you let it pass. If the choice comes down to hurting them, or letting them hurt you... You take the latter.

You try to talk, even when it falls on deaf ears. You try to understand the reasoning, even when it seems beyond all possible comprehension. Find out what you did to deserve the enmity. Find out why your words are going unheeded. Find out WHY redemption is so far beyond this person's consideration... and start fighting the causes, rather than the person.

If you fight the person, you throw away everything you're trying to accomplish. An olive branch in one hand is easy to overlook when the other hand is holding a gun, after all.

When you need help, ask for it. And you WILL need it, I know.

It's easy to do things with violence, but not so easy to turn the other cheek. If it were, you'd see more people doing it.

The name is Silverwing, by the way. As I said... when you need help, ask for it. I'll come to watch your back.
