...I realize this may seem like a foolish sort of question, but...
What does someone who knows only combat do for work?

... Well technically I had a skill besides fighting. BUt I didn't want to use it.

And that WOULD require convincing Mako of the same.I have not fully dismissed the thought, mind you, I am just assessing all of my options.

For me, the big reason for joining DATS was... Well, something different really, though.

Or you could always make a living teaching others how to protect themselves.

I'm a mercenary, not the most glorious of work, but when there's fighting to be done, I can always count on a good paycheck.
When there's NOT fighting to be done... These muscles have to find other work. I've found a lot of people are glad to have a strong guy on hand for construction, and a strong guy that knows how to fight is great for work projects in less than peaceful areas.
I'm sure there's other work you can find, too. A strong body will always have uses somewhere.

I understand what you're saying, though. I just would like to look towards something where my skills would be at their most useful.

I can't say well how I would implement it, of course.

I do whatever job I can get honestly. Because Bounty Hunting, my job back in my world, is a bit hard when there's a chance of someone that's wanted being able to shoot a laser the size of a city block at you.
