I have a question, digital world. One that I'm quiet interested in hearing what you all believe the answer is. The subject you ask?

Empires.

What is it that makes an Empire and what separates the poor from the great? What are the components to a truly great Empire?

Furthermore, what is it that allows an Empire to stand the test of time? What could be done to erect an empire that would stand for thousands of years, if not an eternity?

I await your answers.

Time also. The empires of the past don't always work in the future. If you wanted one to last forever, it would have to survive changing times.

Of course. An Empire must evolve with the times or it is doomed to grow stagnate and die. All very good points. You know your stuff.

It's not difficult to figure out. Actually following through and creating an empire the right way is another matter entirely.

Everything is truly easier said than done. How would you start about creating an Empire?

Not everyone can be rulers. It is good to know where you fit, though.

I'm more of a fighter than a leader, so soldier I guess. What about you? Think you can lead a people to become an empire.

Truth be told, I was an Empress before I came to this world. I ruled over the Cyclonian Empire. Though rebellion during the reign of my Grandmother did cause some of the outlying lands to break free.

I know Atmos and this world are completely different and so are the plethora of other worlds out there. I'm interesting in learning the methods other Empires have used in other worlds.

Well, the basics are pretty universal. Finding someone who is a leader type like you to trade notes with will get you more insight to the details.

Perhaps but as an Empire has many sides one must look it it from the angles of all those who participate in it to fully understand how to erect a truly great Empire.

But only a few see the whole picture. Getting information from those who don't understand what's going on is a waste of time.

A leader must know what their people wants to appease them, yes? People often don't see the whole picture but they do see what they want.

What their people want, sure. But not people in general.

Very true. I have still learned quite a bit from these conversations. It's been enlightening.
