So what's in it for us? We kind of have our own base now.

An empty base, barring Wily's traps and your own upgrades. Given how half of you are weak to each other's weapons, I don't expect that's going to work out well in the long run.

And as I mentioned to the speed demon, I just so happen to have minions without bosses. Additionally, I have empty castles that need some people to man them and make their own upgrades.

You could all have your own territory again.

And if Wily comes back, I won't even expect you to continue your service to me.

You get minions. You get territory. You get resources. And you get autonomy.

And all you've got to do is run a castle and protect it from invasion. ... Well, and maintain a suitable standard of evil in my name.

I'm of the firm belief that good evil shouldn't be hindered or centralized. It keeps the good guys on their toes.
